UP in Santa Clara, California

Whiles on the internet I found this news article that talk about a replica of the floating house from the Disney movie “UP”. I immediately had to make a post about this. When I saw the picture from the movie and the actual house I was stunned, because they looked the same. Then I read all the possible trouble the family could get into because of the remodel just for it being a historical home. But the family had no intention to get into trouble they just wanted to make their children happy. What parent wouldn’t want to make their children happy? Tell me what your thoughts on it; share it with your friends and family.

Fast & Furious reenactment

While I was going to my yahoo account I stumbled on this video. It’s basically a reenactment of one of the car scenes from the movie franchise Fast & Furious. It was made using car toys! I couldn’t believe it when I saw it for the first time. It was made by two French filmmakers. Go check it out!! What are your thoughts on it?

Pink

Ever since I can remember pink has always been considered a girly color. But I don’t really agree with that.  Pink is a color for both girls and boys, it’s a bit funny some people still think like this. Pink has been used by men all throughout history, since 1800’s till this day. A famous designer that used pink in his collection was Emre Erdemoglu show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Istanbul in 2013. For more pink throughout history checkout: PINK!!!!

Maleficent

This summer exactly May 30 “Maleficent” will hit theaters. This is a twist on a classic story. Which revolves on Maleficent side of the story in regards to Sleeping Beauty (1959). This movie in my point of view is an explanation of why Maleficent did what she did. Playing the leading roles as Maleficent is Angelina Jolie and has princess Aurora is Elle fanning. In the trailer it looks very intriguing and I can’t wait to go see it. What are your thoughts on the movie?

Non-Stop

Last weekend I went to the moves to see "The Monument Men" instead I went to see non-stop. Because “The Monument Men” wasn’t available anymore, thankfully there was Non-stop. I really wanted to see it, and let me tell you that were intense. You may think you know what is going to happen but you don’t.  You could hear people gasping and jumping from there sets. But best of all was the total silence in the theater. It was a very good movie and Liam Neeson played a very good role.

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty

So I know I’m a bit late been that this movie came out in 2013. But last weekend I finally had the opportunity to watch this movie. For me it was a very cute and fun movie to watch. It was very inspiring for me, because it made me feel lie anything is possible and can be accomplished. But most importantly it made me want to jump on a plane, train, bus whatever, and travel and explore. This movie also taught me to live in the moment.

The Fault in Our Stars

Recently in my class room there’s been a book being passed from girl to girl.
That book is the fault in our stars by John Green. The book is about a 16 year old girl who has been diagnosed with lung cancer and attends a cancer support group. Hazel the 16 year old girl meets a young boy named Augustus Waters. The young boy also suffered from a rare disease of cancer. This is a very beautiful book that would probably make you cry. This is mostly only read by girls as it is consider a “chick book”. Try it out. What the worst that can happen? You may like it. Also there’s also a movie coming out based on the book, maybe in summer of 2014.
